Tutoring Club

tutoring

Tutoring Club is a ministry of Youth for Christ - Statelineyfc.org - reaching local grade school and middle school children through intentional relationships, assisting these students academically, while introducing them to a caring role model, and teaching them truths about Jesus Christ.

Youth for Christ, in conjunction with local churches, offers free individual tutoring for at-risk grade school children in their weekly Tutoring Clubs. There are ten different clubs spread throughout the Stateline area, in three counties and five cities.

Purpose/Goals

Every participating student will:

  • Be assigned to an adult mentor who will work one-one-one on a weekly basis with that student in a safe group setting.
  • Experience the love, hope, and life that God offers through a personal relationship with Jesus Christ.
  • Receive a weekly meal.
  • Receive assistance with their current academic workload to assist the student in achieving appropriate grade level testing result.
