Why did you choose to make Harvest your home church?
The solid gospel foundation and the warm, friendly welcome to us as newcomers at the time.
Where are you currently serving?
We serve as Life Group Leaders (second year), in Men’s and Women's Ministry, and the 3:23 Food Ministry. We seek God to help us influence our Life Group members and grow their spiritual walk with Him. We strive to display God as much as possible for our children, and grow with fellow brothers and sisters through prayer, and service in Men's & Women's ministries. Most importantly we ask God to help us recognize the divine appointments He has planned for our lives.
How have you seen God move?
Amazingly! We are native Michiganders, and we never thought we would move. We lost a job, and God provided. We relocated from all known family and friends at the time, but trusted God and He brought us to Illinois. Praise God for Harvest, and all the wonderful people He has and will bring across our path on this mission.
What obstacles have you overcome?
Relocating to a new state. No known family or friends outside 350 miles. God let us shop a few churches for a while after moving, but we knew He had a plan all along to land us here at Harvest. To top that all off, He reconnected us to another division of the family of God who cares more for us than we could ever imagine! Praise God.
