We have a great opportunity this summer to serve the Harvest Bible Fellowship for the third time in Braila, Romania.  We are partnering with the “Metanoia" church plant, doing evangelistic outreach through a youth camp with 30-40 Romanians, ages 14-25.  This will be an exciting time for us to share our faith personally with those in need of spiritual revival and renewal and those that don’t know Christ.  The last two summers were incredibly fruitful, and we praise the Lord for it!

Marius and Nutzi Mezin, along with a group of Romanian believers, established a partnership with the Harvest Bible Fellowship in 2008.  Out of this partnership, Harvest Braila was planted.  Named Metanoia (translated “repentance”), the church ministers in the heart Braila.  The ministry was started in the fall of 2008 with 120 people and continues to grow. In December of 2009, the Lord provided them with a new building to worship in.

 Requirements for Short-term Participants:
  • Active and obvious commitment to Jesus Christ.
  • Active Harvest member or pursuing membership.
  • Completion of the Harvest short-term missions application process, including a. application, b. two references and c. interview.
  • Participation of pre-field orientation and preparation offered by Harvest.
*Support Raising Procedure for Short-term Participants:
  • Short-term missions support raising at Harvest is both financial and spiritual.  This experience challenges others to get involved in missions and contribute to a specific outreach (Philippians 4:19).
  • At the first training session, a trip deposit of $200 is due for each participant. We ask that this deposit be a personal contribution.
  • Each participant will be equipped with support raising methods and ideas.
  • It is required that each participant send at least 30 support letters.
