We are the Church

You can't speak of the church as something of brick and mortar because that's not how the Bible describes it.  We are the church…those who believe rightly about Jesus, who bow in worship to Jesus, and who gather regularly together because of Jesus.

  • We are a portrait of Jesus  - "…the church, which is His body, the fullness of Him who fills all in all."  (Eph. 1:22-23)
  • We are connected to Jesus and each other - "…so we, though many, are one body in Christ, and individually members of one another." (Rom. 12:5)
  • We need Jesus and each other - "…The eye cannot say to the hand, 'I have no need of you,' nor again the head to the feet, 'I have no need of you.'" (1 Cor. 12:21)

Rise up church and let your light shine.  The world will know we are Jesus followers by the way we love and service one another.

Coming out of the series “We are the Church,” we are highlighting various people serving in our church. Please enjoy their stories and then ask the Lord how you might be a part of serving at Harvest as well!
