How long have you been a part of Harvest?
Since February 2008
Why did you choose to make Harvest your home church?
God brought us back home to Harvest. We were part of the launch team for Harvest Quad Cities when we lived there.
Where are you currently serving?
We are Life Group leaders (3rd year), Harvest Kids, Men's and Women's Ministry. We are trying to be faithful by serving our Life Group and encouraging everyone to deepen their relationship with Christ. We seek to serve in any way the church has a need. We are seeking to raise our children in Christ.
How have you seen God move?
God has provided for us through several trials over the last three years. He has challenged our faith, tested us, and sustained us. We have been privileged to see friends baptized, turn their lives completely around, and catch fire for Christ. God has brought the best and closest friends of our lives, people who love us and will hold us accountable.
What obstacles have you overcome?
We made a decision three years ago to pass on a promotion to stay here at Harvest because we felt this is where God would have us. We had never felt more growth spiritually because Christ is preached without apology. Since that decision we have experienced two extended periods of unemployment lasting almost a year plus several medical issues. God has provided at every turn and we have experienced his faithfulness firsthand.
